[Burning A Candle At Both Ends]

It's visually stunning - I like how the candle slowly emerges from darkness, floating ^^

BTW I didn't know this idiom and after googling it, I gotta keep in mind your advice from the description x'D

The purple bruises on his neck and face stand in sharp contrast with the pink interior, and it breaks my heart. Poor spider ;_;

I really like the colouring here - especially the yellow light on the right side, suggesting that despite of all there's still some hope left; same for the colours of the dawn inside the shape of lotus. Speaking of the lotus, it's great to see all these symbols of peace and calm written inside it^^

I'm a little confused about the message though - is the man finally at peace? Or is he trying to achieve it by meditating about peace and thinking happy thoughts? To me, his smile feels more like he's trying to smile at his thoughts, not out of inner joy. But I may be totally wrong^^"
